THE LOWDOWN

WOLVES

  • Wolves’ five-match unbeaten run came to a crashing halt at Selhurst Park a fortnight ago, as they were beaten 2-0 by Crystal Palace to leave them in eighth-placed heading into this latest round of Premier League fixtures.
  • Of Wolves’ fairly consistent injury list, under Fernando Marcal could return for this match, with the quartet of Hugo Bueno, Jonny Otto, Yerson Mosquera and Pedro Neto all still absent.

WEST HAM

  • West Ham’s excellent season continues to gather pace as they recorded their most impressive victory of the campaign in their last match, beating Liverpool by three goals to two.
  • The Hammers have suffered a significant blow with the news that Angelo Ogbonna is likely out for the season with an ACL injury, which means that one of Craig Dawson or Issa Diop will step into central defence, whole Vladimir Coufal will be hoping to reclaim the right-back spot from the impressive Ben Johnson.

THE PREDICTION

Make no mistake about it, West Ham are the real deal! Last season was not a flash in the pan for David Moyes’ side who now sit third-place, level on points with Man City directly above them. Wolves will no doubt provide stiff opposition especially at home and the Hammers will have to be at the best to overcome them. Much will likely depend on the availability of Rice, who is such an outstanding player and a key cog in this well-oiled West Ham machine. Either way, it would take someone brave to bet against the visitors in their current form with four successive Premier League wins to their name. With that in mind, back West Ham via the draw no bet market for extra security.

Tip: WEST HAM DRAW NO BET
