THE LOWDOWN
TOTTENHAM
- Tottenham led twice against Southampton in midweek, only to be stunned by the Saints who came back on both occasions, ultimately emerging 2-3 winners in North London, Tottenham’s first defeat at home under Antonio Conte in the Premier League.
- Oliver Skipp will miss out here through injury, whilst Conte will also be without both Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga for this one.
WOLVES
- Wolves’ lack of potency in front of goal proved their downfall this past Thursday night as they were beaten 0-1 by Arsenal at Molineux, their second successive home defeat by a single goal in all competitions.
- Joao Moutinho missed the Arsenal defeat and is doubtful for this one, although Hwang Hee-chan and Jonny could return to the pitch after bench appearances last time out.

THE PREDICTION
As strong as Wolves are defensively, they have lacked a cutting edge in front of goal across their last two fixtures in all competitions and Tottenham will be hoping to take advantage. Spurs will be smarting following that shock defeat in midweek and with an extra day of rest compared to Wolves, Conte will want his side to seize the initiative early on and take the fight to their opponents offensively. It’s hard to think that the Italian boss won’t have his side fired up for this one and whilst Wolves will no doubt set themselves in a disciplined manner, making it hard for Spurs to break them down, Tottenham with home advantage in their favour should have enough firepower to edge this one.
