THE PREDICTION

Arsenal relieved a huge amount pressure from manager Mikel Arteta’s shoulders with a crucial 3-1 victory over local rivals Chelsea. The key question now is whether they can back such a result up with a second successive league triumph, as they travel to Brighton. The Seagulls are winless in their last six matches and are currently hovering just two points above the bottom three. Confidence is likely low in the Brighton camp with head coach Graham Potter unable to call upon influential right wing-back Tariq Lamptey for this game due to injury. With Arsenal having enjoyed an extra days recovery time leading into this match, the Gunners could be set to profit here, with Arteta’s men taking their momentum from their victory over Chelsea into this encounter and securing another three points, this time over a physically drained Brighton.
