THE PREDICTION

Newcastle are currently suffering a miserable run of form, which continued in midweek as the Magpies were beaten 1-0 by bottom-placed Sheffield United after having midfielder Ryan Fraser sent off late in the first half. Steve Bruce’s side have now failed to win their last eight games in all competitions and here they face the side that knocked them out of the FA Cup last weekend in Arsenal. The Gunners have improved significantly in recent weeks under Mikel Arteta and will be looking to continue their positive momentum in this game. With the likes of striker Alexandre Lacazette in good form alongside young midfielders Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe, the hosts are expected to offensively overpower a Newcastle side low on confidence and pick up the victory here on their own patch.
