THE PREDICTION

Arsenal extended their winning run to four matches in all competitions at the weekend, although they needed extra time to secure a 2-0 victory against Newcastle in the FA Cup third round. Mikel Arteta’s side are currently playing with a freedom and solidarity that hasn’t been seen from the Gunners all season. Crystal Palace meanwhile, have won just once in their last seven matches, that being against rock bottom Sheffield Utd. Whilst the Eagles and Wilfried Zaha in particular will make things uncomfortable for the hosts, it’s difficult to see them finding find the net away from home against a rejuvenated Arsenal defence. If Arteta’s men can keep Zaha quiet then they should make it five wins on the bounce here, keeping another clean sheet in the process.
