Hull have had a dramatic week that has seen boss Grant McCann sacked by the club’s new Turkish owner. Former Rangers player Shota Arveladze has apparently been lined-up to take over, but whether he will be in place for the visit of Swansea is as yet unknown. However, the removal of McCann following successive victories against promotion chasers Blackburn and Bournemouth will have no doubt shaken the dressing room, so it would be no surprise if it caused an adverse effect on the Tigers here against the Swans. Defensively, Russell Martin’s side have impressed in recent fixtures, conceding just once in their last three games and picking up five points. Such stability within the backline should serve them well in this one and they are more than capable of gaining at least another point, if not all three should they maintain their recent levels of performance.
