THE PREDICTION
After being sent down from the Premier League last season in 18th-placed, Fulham have tasked former Hull and Everton manager Marco Silva with securing them promotion for the second time in a row following relegation. Whilst the Cottagers have not brought in a huge number of players, they have spent £12m to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson, who was on loan at Cardiff last season. In Middlesbrough however, they face a tough, belligerent opponent who will look to impose their physicality and make themselves extremely difficult to break down under the vastly experienced Neil Warnock, whilst at the same time looking to attack from set pieces in particular. With Warnock well aware of the class Fulham possess within their squad going forward, the visitors will likely try and break play up as much as possible, which is likely to see the contest struggle to explode into life. With that in mind, under 2.5 goals scored looks like a shrewd play.
