GENK VS ANTWERP PREDICTION
Genk are only in second place of the Belgian Pro League right now on head-to-head results as they sit behind surprise-packages Beerschot on the basis of a 5-2 loss to the newly promoted side back in September. In fact, that was Genk’s last defeat as they have gone on a 10-match unbeaten streak with six straights wins on the bounce that should strike fear in the hearts of all competitors – apart from the fearless league-leaders. Antwerp will be a real test for their winning streak, however, if not their unbeaten run as they come off the back of three straight sins themselves and some excellent European form. Antwerp will, though, be feeling Thursday’s match in their legs a little and Genk have had a whole week to prepare for trying to topple Beerschot at the top. Both teams have scored in all three of each team’s last three league matches so add that to a home win for Genk as Antwerp’s recent away form leaves a little to be desired.
