England vs Tonga prediction
It’s fair to say that England haven’t been at their peak so far over the course of this tournament. They’ve missed the likes of Alicia Scholes and Gracie Smith, who each enjoyed excellent Netball Super League seasons and could’ve perhaps given them an extra boost if selected. They were physically dominated by Australia but got back to winning ways against Malawi, scoring 73 points. Eleanor Cardwell was flawless, going 21 from 21 and needs to maintain that form.
Tonga defeated Northern Ireland but other than that, it’s been a difficult campaign with two crushing losses against Australia and South Africa respectively. As was the case with that pair, England are a much better team and are expected to put up another huge haul of points. There is no excuse for the Vitality Roses not to emerge victorious.
