KANDY FALCONS FORM: THE OLD BOYS TO THE RESCUE
As mentioned, the Falcons are the champions, led by Sri Lanka captain Wanindu Hasaranga, but they have failed to find any consistency this term. They do, though, boast a couple of Sri Lanka legends, such as Dinesh Chandimal and Dasun Shanaka. They have both performed well at times in this competition and will be hoping to rediscover some of their magic touch, starting with this one.

DAMBULLA SIXERS FORM: GROWING INTO THE TOURNAMENT
The Sixers started their season with real concerns about the speed of their batting. Runs were put on the board but at a rate that made it quite comfortable for the opposition. Since a slow start, though, they have begun to find some fluency and rhythm as they head into the final few games.

KANDY FALCONS BETTING ANALYSIS
The Falcons come into this one on the back of a four-wicket defeat to the Jaffna Kings. That, though, was a rain reduced game so did not suit either Chandimal or Shanaka because of them being more accustomed to home conditions and playing a long game on what should be a turning track. Therefore, if 20 overs a side is to be played, then backing Chandimal to be the top batter for Kandy is always a good bet.
With the ball, Hasaranga took 2-18 so would theoretically be in good wicket taking form but those 18 runs all came off just one over and hurt his figures somewhat. That said, as mentioned, pace off the ball and spin is expected to be the order of the day and therefore backing him to take another two or more wickets would seem a sensible shout.
DAMBULLA SIXERS BETTING ANALYSIS
The Dambulla Sixers have what should be an explosive top order. Reeza Hendricks, Kusal Perera and Ibrahim Zadran is perhaps a new top order and the latter showed signs of getting off to a flyer against Galle last time out with 30 coming off a strike rate of 166+. They did, though, fall foul to a lot of spin and that would make Perera the best bet to be their best bat as he prefers to face up to quicker bowling.
In the bowling department, with spin the likely threat, it will be Mohammad Nabi and Dushan Hemantha that are most likely to take the wickets. Therefore, backing Nabi or Hemantha to take two or more wickets is the way to go.
KANDY FALCONS VS DAMBULLA SIXERS EXPERT PREDICTION
This one would appear fairly evenly matched on paper with both sides having won just two games each and being the only teams in the competition with a minus net run rate. However, despite having played two games more, the Falcons are defending champions for a reason and they will look to finish the league phase with a bit of a flourish so are expected to come out on top, even if it isn’t enough to reach the eliminator.
