Bangladesh will want to follow up their excellent showing and commanding victory in the first T20i of this series with another strong performance on this occasion. The Tigers bowled Zimbabwe out for just 124 with Mahedi Hasan, Taskin Ahmed and Mohammad Saifuddin sharing out the wickets, before they chased their victory score down in 15.2 overs with eight wickets remaining.

Zimbabwe will need to find a way fast to improve with the bat if they are to avoid another bad defeat in this second T20i. Only wicketkeeper Clive Madande and Wellington Masakadza offered any sort of genuine resistance with three of the Zimbabwean top five each failing to score entirely. Such a total was always extremely unlikely to be defended and so that proved the case.

Whilst Zimbabwe are likely to put up more of a fight this time around having now gotten some competitive time out in the middle with bat and ball in these subcontinental conditions, they still face a tall order to match Bangladesh. The Tigers looked really impressive on Friday, highly-focused, their bowling attack well on top of their opponents whilst the majority of the home batters afforded time at the crease helped themselves to significant runs. Back this latest T20i to also go the way of Bangladesh.
