THE PREDICTION
Deccan Gladiators were excellent as they advanced to the final of the
T10 League with a victory over Delhi Bulls yesterday but they will have
to overcome the same opponent if they are to lift the trophy. The Bulls
produced a great response to their defeat in that clash as they blew
Team Abu Dhabi away to make the most of their second bite of the cherry
to join the Gladiators in the final but they will need to reverse the
form here having lost all three games against Deccan this season. Tom
Kohler-Cadmore and Wanindu Hasaranga will be the key men for the
Gladiators while if the Bulls are to have any chance, they could be
reliant on in-form bowler Dominic Drakes. He has taken ten wickets in
his last three matches and is tied as the leading wicket-taker in the
tournament along with Hasaranga and the battle to finish at the top of
those standings could spur both men on. Both teams are capable of
prevailing here but the Gladiators’ dominance over the Bulls so far
cannot be overlooked and they are fancied to claim the title.
