THE PREDICTION

Before this competition began, Team Abu Dhabi was pegged as a side excellent to go very well and indeed they have done so far. A top three batting line-up of Phil Salt, Paul Stirling and Liam Livingstone has the potential to take any bowling attack to the cleaners in Abu Dhabi with Livingstone in particular having dealt almost exclusively in sixes so far. Delhi Bull however, are not to be underestimated, having won three of their four matches played and led by the experienced Dwayne Bravo. The Bulls’ last match saw the likes of Adil Rashid, Shiraz Ahmed and even Bravo himself taken to the cleaners by English duo Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Tom Banton. It would therefore be no surprise to see Salt and Livingstone tee off at will against the same side, with Ireland’s Stirling also a huge threat and in good form following his fifty against Bangla Tigers. Whilst this shouldn’t prove in any way a walkover, Team Abu Dhabi may just wind up too strong for Delhi Bulls.
