- Warrington just did enough to see off the challenge of Hull KR in the Cup last week to make it six wins from seven in all competitions with the Wolves now turning their attention to increasing their lead over the teams below them in the league.
- The Cup win for Warrington came at a cost with Tom Lineham copping a three-match ban whilst Jake Mamo will also sit a game out after he too was given a suspension for foul play against Hull KR.
- Jack Johnson is named in the 19-man squad and will likely play at fullback in Mamo’s absence whilst there is also a place for youngster Josh Thewlis who is named in the squad for the first time and could debut here.

- Challenge Cup holders Catalans crashed out of the competition as they were hammered by Hull FC to relinquish their crown last week and must quickly put that behind them as they face a tough trip to Warrington.
- Sam Tomkins made a welcome return for the Dragons and could be joined in the halves by Matty Smith after he was dropped last week with Catalans losing three players from the side that played last week.
- Brayden Wiliame, Lewis Tierney and skipper Remi Casty are all out having picked up injuries last week and are replaced in the 19-man squad by Benjamin Jullien, Arthur Romano and Lambert Belmas.
THE PREDICTION
Warrington face a crisis in the backline after losing two further players through suspension which could cause them issues here. They face a Catalans side that had been in great form until their shocking display against Hull but after five wins in their last six in the league, they will pose problems. A big response is expected by Catalans after that heavy defeat and whilst the French side can be unpredictable with their performances, they may do enough to shock Warrington here.
