- St. Helens suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down to Catalans in poor conditions in the south of France and will be looking to bounce back immediately in this top-of-the-table clash.
- Saints were without first-choice halfback pairing Theo Fages and Jonny Lomax against Catalans but the latter should be back in what will be a big boost having been named in the 19-man squad.
- Fages remains out so Lomax is set to be partnered by Danny Richardson in the halves whilst Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook is back in the squad after missing out for personal reasons last week, with Jack Welsby making way.

- Warrington continued their fine run of form with another victory as they racked up 48 points to comfortably see off London last week. They now travel to St. Helens for the right to be outright league leaders.
- The Wolves were able to rotate their squad last week with Mike Cooper among those rested who will come back into the side, whilst Jack Hughes also returns to the 19 after he was afforded a rest.
- Sitaleki Akauola is the man to make way in the only change from last week’s 19-man squad with Steve Price set to make a couple of changes to the 17 as several players tussle for the final spots in the team.
THE PREDICTION
The top two teams in Super League will face off here in what should be a thrilling contest. After St. Helens lost their perfect record this season, Warrington leapfrogged them on points difference and with Saints missing one of their first-choice halfbacks again, the Wolves can take advantage. They have been very impressive in recent weeks with their attack really starting to click and although Saints have the best defence in the league so far, Warrington’s superior attacking prowess can be enough to pick up the win.
