Al Ettifaq vs Al Khaleej prediction

As mentioned, Al Ettifaq have been much-improved since the sacking of Steven Gerrard as they now begin this weekend’s round of fixtures pushing for a top-half finish in this season’s Saudi Pro League. They come into this one on the back of a 3-2 loss to Al Ittihad last week to mean they have managed just one win in their last five matches despite their improvement.

They now face an Al Khaleej side that shared a 1-1 draw with Al Qadsiah in their most recent outing at Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium due to an 89th minute equaliser for Al Qadsiah scored by Mexico international Julian Quinones. They themselves have now managed just one win in their last 12 matches.

Despite their recent dip in form of late, Al Ettifaq will be expected to return to winning ways in this one against a similarly out of form Al Khaleej side, especially with their home advantage.
