THE PREDICTION
St. Kilda’s third loss in a row has surely ended any hopes they had
of competing in the finals. They start the round just four points
outside of the top eight but they have plenty of teams to overhaul and
even three straight victories to end the campaign may not be enough.
They went down to Carlton last time out and now face an in-form Sydney
Swans who are chasing a spot in the top four. The Swans were pushed all
the way in a high-scoring encounter with Essendon last week but did
enough to make it five consecutive victories and they seemingly just
know how to get the job done at the minute so another success is in the
offing for them here against a side in which they have beaten in 11 of
their last 12 contests.
