Richmond’s hopes of defending their AFL crown suffered another blow
as they were edged by Fremantle last week. That is now back-to-back
defeats for the Tigers and time is running out for them to secure their
spot in the finals. They cannot afford any, further slip-ups if they
want to finish in the top eight so this is a must-win clash with North
Melbourne. The Kangaroos will also be desperate for a win here as they
bid to keep their hopes of avoiding the wooden spoon alive after they
were beaten by Geelong Cats last week but it was another solid
performance and they can keep things tight enough to prevail with the benefit of a +25.5 start.
