USA vs Finland prediction

These two nations head into the quarter-finals with momentum behind them and separating the pair will be difficult. Finland are coming off the back of three consecutive 2-1 victories but are unlikely to restrict USA to such a low score when considering the attacking talent at their disposal and the form of key pieces such as Frank Nazar and Tage Thompson.

Finland’s defence is dogged but the Americans should have the answer and provided their goaltender can back up the offense, then the expectation is that USA will come out on top over the course of three periods.
