USA may be helpless in regards to what Latvia do against Hungary earlier in the day but they’ll still be desperate to win here even if their hopes of reaching the knockout stage have ended. They’ve been arguably the biggest disappointment of the tournament so far but retain a strong roster and looked good against Hungary recent in a 7-3 win.

With Austria having already reached the last eight they could well take their foot off the gas and give key players a rest in preparation for the quarter-finals.
