With Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys more than likely to win their singles rubbers and both Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz well capable of sealing the tie in between it is highly unlikely that we shall see a ‘live’ Mixed Doubles decider here. However, should Martina Trevisan and once again stun a top 10 star after her heroics in Saturday’s thriller with Maria Sakkari the rest this final will be immensely interesting. Wait for the four singles matches to come through before tackling this match but if Jessica Pegula and one of Fritz or Tiafoe face Camilla Rosatello and one of Lorenzo Musetti or Matteo Berrettini this match leans heavily in the USA’s favour. Pegula is by far the best doubles player on the court after making her WTA Finals debut in both singles and doubles last November as the world number five on that side of the draw and whilst the USA have often dropped sets this fortnight they can be backed to win outright.
