Lorenzo Musetti blasted past Greece’s Stefanos Sekellaridis in an altogether more straightforward result to take the tie to 2-0 overnight, leaving world number four Stefanos Tsitsipas the daunting task of saving things against Matteo Berrettini. 24-year-old Tsitsipas is the kind of player you want fighting for you at this moment in time as it has certainly looked like the Greek is more focused fighting for his nation than himself and he leads world number 16 Berrettini 2-0 in their head-to-head for some confidence coming in to this heavyweight clash. Berrettini, though, has beaten a much higher-calibre of player at the United Cup in the likes of Casper Ruud and most recently Hubert Hurkacz, whilst Tsitsipas dropped sets against Grigor Dimitrov and Borna Coric.
