SEBASTIAN KORDA VS ALEXANDER ZVEREV PREDICTION

Sebastian Korda is playing with plenty of confidence right now and he comes into this quarter-final match fresh and raring to go after he received a bye in the round of 16 as Casper Ruud withdrew from the tournament. That was the second opponent that has withdrawn against him as Vasek Pospisil pulled out in the first round, while Korda beat Taylor Fritz who had injury niggles in their second round match.

After winning the Citi Open in Washington last week, the lighter schedule will no doubt be welcomed by Korda but he has also been somewhat fortunate at the expense of his injured opponents.

He now faces Zverev who is looking strong this week after dismantling Jordan Thompson 6-1 6-1 and then Holger rune 6-3 7-6. After the frustrating loss on home turf at the Hamburg Open, losing in the final to Arthur Fils, Zverev looks motivated this week. After Sinner was knocked out, Zverev will fancy his chances and there will be no underestimating Korda.

Expect Zverev to put a marker down and show his class to progress to the semis.
