World number 66 Sebastian Baez finished runner-up to Pedro Martinez at the Chile Open late last month and the impressive youngster will be eager to return to the clay for a promising swing next month. The 21-year-old has gone toe-to-toe with Stefanos Tsitsipas at the Australian Open this season and he reached the semi-finals of the Next Gen ATP Finals last November as a late entrant to show for his prowess on hardcourts but Kamil Majchrzak is a tough opening draw. The 26-year-old is up to a career-high ATP world ranking of 75th after some steady work over the last year and he impressed by winning all three of his ATP Cup fixtures at the start of the season. Baez is the more explosive of the two and likely to win a set even if he loses, so back the Argentine to win at least one here.
