World number 116 Rebecca Marino qualified for the main draw of the Miami Open without dropping a set this week after some great recent success on the ITF circuit. The Canadian will face world number 53 Katerina Siniakova for a first time with a decent chance at an upset in this form, although the Czech remains the solid favourite to come through here. 25-year-old Siniakova claimed just the first win of her 2022 season in the singles with a three-set victory over Irina-Camelia Begu at Indian Wells last time out but she won the Australian Open Women’s Doubles alongside Barbora Krejcikova to make up for it. This is a tough call and well worth leaving out of an accumulator. Take Siniakova to win outright or perhaps even Marino to snatch at least a set.
