World number 89 Jaume Munar came back from a set down to stun Pablo Carreno Busta in the second round of Indian Wells and he came close to shocking the eventual champion in the third round, where he lost a deciding tiebreak to Taylor Fritz. The 24-year-old has impressed in parts of this season and after qualifying well this week he looks a slight favourite to get past world number 106 Taro Daniel. 29-year-old Daniel has also impressed this season, with that memorable victory over Andy Murray at the Australian Open the standout, but Munar was the winner of their previous encounter at the 2018 Kitzbuhel Open in straight sets and that makes backing the Spaniard to win at least a set the wise move here.
