World number 29 Sebastian Baez will be one to watch next season after winning three of his four ATP titles in 2023, including back-to-back – and on different surfaces – at Kitzbuhel and Winston-Salem this summer. The 22-year-old fought back from a set down to beat Christopher O’Connell on Monday as he continues to seek out his recent form but Rune should be able to find a way through this occasion despite his erratic autumn.
