THE PREDICTION
World number 27 Dan Evans and number 90 Facundo Bagnis will meet for the second times in their career in exactly the same circumstances as their first, with Evans beating the Argentine in straight sets in the first round of the Australian Open back in 2017. 32-year-old Evans endured a largely frustrating 2022 but he did reach the semi-finals of a Masters tournament before defeat to the eventual champion for a second-successive season when he lost in three sets to Pablo Carreno Busta at the Canada Masters.
