World number 35 Alexander Bublik is frankly the most unpredictable tennis player on tour, ATP or WTA, with four ATP tour finals reached so far in his career without a title yet won. The 24-year-old has two first serves in a kamikaze playstyle that excites crowds when he is on form and frustrates them when he is off but his amiable persona offsets this for the most part. He will be the favourite to beat Ernesto Escobedo here but the American will do well to stay in the match as long as possible with sets to be had if he can weather Bublik’s serve long enough.
