Italy know what they have to do if they are to avoid a relegation which has looked on the cards since their first game in Group B. They must beat Slovenia and do so without the need for overtime, giving them the three points needed to overtake the Slovenians in the table. Whilst for Slovenia, it’s about holding their nerve and defeating the one team in Group B without a single win to their name so far.

Whilst a match of such consequences brings a high level of pressure, Slovenia will know that man-for-man, they are a stronger team and have more strength-in-depth within their squad compared to the Italians.
