Scarlets managed to play one of just two United Rugby Championship fixtures last weekend in a 22-19 victory over Ospreys on New Year’s Day. Technically they made it back-to-back wins in the division but with their previous match in any competition coming in late October the win was all the more impressive. A doomed trip to South Africa and the covid-19 outbreak that followed leaves them in mid-table with two games in-hand but they can make significant ground in this winnable home fixture against struggling Dragons on Saturday.
