THE PREDICTION
Connacht were beaten 37-31 away at Stade Francais last Sunday to make it back-to-back defeats in the Champions Cup but they have just scraped through to the last 16. A 28-29 loss at home to Leicester Tigers is a pretty useful working level to return to the United Rugby Championship with but travelling Glasgow Warriors also left a loss last week, 30-38 at home to La Rochelle, with some positives. The visitors had previously won three matches at home on the spin, including an impressive 22-7 victory over Exeter Chiefs in the Champions Cup, but their only win on the road so far has come at rock-bottom Zebre. Connacht have seen some close margins in recent games and taking them to cover -2 at home seems a suitably cautious concession.
