THE PREDICTION
Dragons’ struggles continued last weekend as they lost 22-16 away at Top 14 minnows Perpignan in their Challenge Cup opener. The Welsh side are riding a five-match losing streak now across all competitions and they have managed just one win all season long, with this visit from Lyon looking a tough sell to home fans. The visitors got off to a great start in their opening game at home to the Premiership's Gloucester, coming through 19-13 at their fortress. Dragons have yet to be hit hard by covid but it is worth holding off on any and all European rugby matches until they are confirmed to take place with so much uncertainty. If it does, taking Lyon to edge what looks set to be a fairly low-scoring encounter seems the reasonable outcome.
