THE PREDICTION

Northampton Saints beat Bath 40-19 last Saturday to move up to third in the Premiership as one of the sides going somewhat under the radar so far this season. They host Racing 92 for a first Pool A clash in the Champions Cup and fans will be sure to make their voice heard against French opposition on Friday night. The visitors will be eager to step outside of the Top 14 for a while after a dismal three defeats on the spin, with a 25-3 loss at Castres last Saturday particularly poor. The visitors have won just one match outside of Paris so far this season and taking the Saints to utilise home advantage and their own excellent momentum to win outright here seems a reasonable pick. You could add +1 for a little head-start.
