Leinster have righted the ship after a mini blip saw them surrender the lead of the Pro14 to Ulster but this game in-hand away to Scarlets offers them the chance to almost immediately reclaim it. The resigning champions have a far superior points difference over Ulster and three more bonus points before this away trip and improving both will be on the agenda in a pivotal moment for their season. Scarlets are unbeaten in the cup but have little domestic form to speak of after a postponement and two defeats from their last three Pro14 fixtures. They have yet to face Leinster this season but given what is at stake for the visitors this looks like it will be a day to endure for Scarlets fans.
