SEAN SORIANO VS SHAYILAN NUERDANBIEKE LOWDOWN

Sean Soriano (14-7) is currently 3-2 in his last five professional fights. This is the second time that Soriano has competed in the promotion. Sean was first signed on back in 2014. However, after going 0-3, Dana White released Soriano. Throughout the next couple of years, Soriano had to impress on the regional scene to earn himself a spot back on the UFC roster. Eventually, he was re-signed this year but lost on his return fight to Christos Giagos.

Shayilan Nuerdanbieke (19-7) lost on his promotional debut to Joshua Culibao. At the age of 27, Nuerdanbieke has fought nearly 30 times in his professional career. Nuerdanbieke has won 13 fights via stoppage. The Chinese born fighter caught the eye of many in the WLF W.A.R.S promotion. After losing on his UFC debut, Shayilan will be desperate to get back to winning ways this weekend.

SEAN SORIANO VS SHAYILAN NUERDANBIEKE PREDICTION

Going into this fight, Soriano will be the bigger fighter. He has an advantage in both height and reach. With Colibao outclassing Nuerdanbieke on the feet, it looks as if there is a clear path to victory for Sean.

On the other hand, Soriano has had a tough time when the fight has gone to the mat. Sean has lost five times in his professional career via submission. That could pay dividends for Nuerdanbieke, with grappling being his bread and butter.

However, in recent times, Soriano’s takedown defence has improved a tad. Therefore, the majority of this fight will take place on the feet, with Soriano able to stand and pick Nuerdanbieke a part.
