NURSULTON RUZIBOEV VS SEDRIQUES DUMAS LOWDOWN
It is good to see Nursulton Ruziboev (33-8-2(2)) back on a card after he had to pull out of his fight with Caio Borralho at UFC Fight Night 231. He missed the chance to build on his perfect UFC debut which stretched his win streak to nine. He met Brunno Ferreira (2023) at UFC on ESPN 48 and handed him the first loss of his career with a first-round knockout.
Now, he has been paired with Sedriques Dumas (11-1) who is coming off his first two UFC dubs. His debut did not go to plan after falling into Josh Fremd’s (2023) guillotine. However, he bounced back with unanimous decisions over Cody Brundage (2023) and Abu Azaitar (2023).
NURSULTON RUZIBOEV VS SEDRIQUES DUMAS PREDICTION
They are both finishers, but we will have a clash of styles here. Dumas is filling out his skill set but prefers to get the job done on the feet. He is a very dangerous striker and will be confident of finding the knockout.
Ruziboev on the other hand prefers to get the job done on the ground and maul his opponents. He is a beast of a grappler and will try and dump Dumas on his back and unleash ground-and-pound until a submission opens up.
This is a terrible match-up for Dumas who has been taken down by all three of his UFC opponents and we expect Ruziboev to carve through him.
