MARCIN TYBURA VS SERGHEI SPIVAC LOWDOWN
This is a rematch from 2020 which saw Marcin Tybura beat Serghei Spivac via decision but a lot has happened since then and it could easily take a different shape this time around.
Tybura is 38 now and brings a 25-8 record into this fight. The Pole comes off a submission win over Tai Tuivasa and is looking stronger than ever. Similar to Spivac, he just looks to have hit his ceiling which can be seen in defeats against top five fighters like Tom Aspinall.
Spivac is 29 and youth is certainly on his side. The Polar Bear brings a 16-4 record into this one and comes off his fourth defeat which came at the hands of Cyril Gane. He will relish the opportunity to avenge the decision loss in what is the only rematch he has faced in his career so far.
MARCIN TYBURA VS SERGHEI SPIVAC PREDICTION
This match could very well have a different look to the first fight between these two fighters. Spivac lost the first fight but he will be desperate to get back in the win column and remain relevant especially against another top ten fighter.
Tybura had the edge in the first fight but he may find it much harder this time around. He is now 38 and Spivac will have the greater engine.
Both men will likely go for the stoppage though it is three years since Tybura last knocked somebody out. We should not rule out Spivac getting a late one as Tybura tires, but we just edge Spivac getting the decision.
PREDICTION: Serghei Spivac to win
