Marie Bouzkova vs Lucrezia Stefanini prediction

Marie Bouzkova got off to a strong start at the Prague Open as she thrashed Gao Xinyu in the first-round. The Czech fifth seed dropped just two games and broke her opponent on five separate occasions, winning 6-0 6-2. Bouzkova reached the final of her home event in 2023 and will be hopeful of making another deep run at the tournament this week.

She takes on Lucrezia Stefanini in the round-of-16. She defeated Viktoriya Tomova in straight sets in her first-round match. Stefanini easily won the first set but had more trouble in the second. She went a break up but was pegged back by Tomova and was broken on two occasions when serving for the match. Nevertheless, she dominated the tiebreak to win 6-1 7-6.

Bouzkova leads the head-to-head 1-0, thrashing Stefanini 6-2 6-1 in the second-round of the Guadalajara Open last year. She is ranked more than 100 places above her opponent and will be an overwhelming favourite to reach the quarter-finals.
