Linda Noskova vs Elisabetta Cocciaretto prediction
Linda Noskova produced a distinctly average performance in the first-round but still got her Prague Open campaign off to a winning start. Her opponent Anastasia Gasanova is ranked 249 in the world but troubled the top seed at times during the match, serving for the first set on two occasions and going a break up in the second set. Nevertheless, Noskova managed to turn the tide and win both sets on tight tiebreaks. A poor serving performance saw her commit eight double faults and produce a first serve percentage of just 52%.
Elisabetta Cocciaretto, her opponent in the next round, had a far more comfortable match in round one as she defeated Viktorija Golubic 6-2 6-3. The pair exchange breaks in the opening service games but Cocciaretto controlled the match from then on.
Noskova did not perform close to her best in the last round, but we expect a much improved display against Cocciaretto at her home tournament.
