Leolia Jeanjean vs Ann Li prediction

Leolia Jeanjean made it through to the next stage of the Prague Open after her first-round opponent Nuria Parrizas-Diaz was forced to retire. Jeanjean was leading 6-3 2-0 when the Spaniard, who was making a return from injury, decided to call it quits. She won all 14 of her first serve points during the match and now faces Ann Li for a place in the quarter-finals.

Li battled her way past Astra Sharma in the first-round. Breaks were exchanged in the first set, leading to it being decided in a tiebreak which the American dominated. Li then broke straight away at the start of the second and came through to win 7-6 6-3. She’s now one win away from her third quarter-final of the season and her first on a hard court since making the final of the Singapore Open in February.

Both players are pretty evenly matched but Li may just have the edge when it comes to the longer rallies and her superior movement as the match progresses. She is due to a strong run at a tournament.
