Latvia vs Austria prediction

Latvia shut out Germany this past weekend to get on the board after losing out to a strong Switzerland side in their opening match. Whilst Austria are currently undefeated after recording two wins from two, you could argue that they’ve faced easier opposition on paper than their opponents, beating Great Britain and Hungary. To concede twice against both those two teams shows that the Austrians are far from infallible.

When taking that into account, Latvia have every reason to believe they can end Austria’s perfect start provided they maintain the defensive stability which has served them so well lately. They’ve proven to have a good offence and if they can be clinical with the puck, it would be no surprise to see Latvia come out on top.
