Jerome Kym vs Arthur Cazaux prediction
Jerome Kym battled his way past Francesco Passaro in straight sets to make the quarter-finals of the Swiss Open Gstaad. There were no breaks of serve during the match but Kym performed well in both tiebreaks to win 7-6 7-6. This is the first time Kym has reached the last eight of an event on the ATP Tour.
He will now go up against Arthur Cazaux. Cazaux produced an upset of sorts as he defeated fourth seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry in three sets to advance to the last eight in Gstaad. The Frenchman saved 11 out of 12 break point opportunities on his own serve, while he earned the all-important break in the middle of the decider to win 6-3 4-6 6-4.
Cazaux is ranked around 40 places above his opponent and has been in decent form as of late. We favour him to make it through to his first semi-final of the season.
