Hungary vs Norway prediction

When assessing results so far over the course of the group stage, one can be forgiven for thinking that Norway are destined for relegation. But a win in three periods against Hungary would take the Norwegians above their opponents in Group B and save them from the drop. This would mean Norway coming out on the winning end of a fixture for the first time, having lost six games so far, one of those in overtime.

But the underlying statistics suggests that Norway stand a real chance here. They’ve conceded 14 less goals than Hungary for starters, whose 38 points conceded is the most of any nation in the group stage by a wide margin. Norway have also scored more points and if they can keep their composure, then it would be no surprise to see them overcome Hungary, which looks the value play here.
