Francisco Comesana vs Alexander Bublik prediction

Francisco Comesana cruised into the quarter-finals of the Swiss Open Gstaad after beating Roberto Carballes Baena 6-1 6-4. He faced just one break point during the match and won a commanding 91% of his first serve points. He’s into his first quarter-final since winning the Oeiras Challenger in the middle of April.

He will now play Alexander Bublik. Bublik easily defeated compatriot Alexander Shevchenko 6-3 6-2 after just an hour and two minutes. He won 80% of his first serve points and struck 20 winners to his opponent’s five. This was his first match since losing in the first-round of Wimbledon and he produced a dominant display, except for the first game of the second set where he lost serve.

Comesana is likely to be more of a challenge for Bublik, but the Kazakhstani has become a real force on clay recently and will fancy his chances of winning a maiden title on the surface this week.
