THE PREDICTION
Spain come into this on the back of a slender 1-0 win away to Greece on Thursday evening. Pablo Sarabia’s 26th minute penalty helped La Roja climb to the top-of-the-group but it was a performance of much of the same for Luis Enrique’s side against weaker sides deploying a low-block. They come up against a Sweden side that blew their opportunity to stay at the top by losing 2-0 to quite a weak Georgia side. Kvisha Kvaratshkvelia and Tornike Okriashvili offered a real potency and Sweden struggled to cope with the favourites, front-foot tag. They will know they can sit deep, like they did in the 0-0 UEFA Euro 2020 draw in the summer. This should be a low-scoring encounter. Home win or draw and Spain go through, Sweden win and the Swedes go through. It is going to be nervy and under 3.5 goals would appear likely.
