RB Leipzig have put in some fairly unconvincing performances domestically of late but they put in an impressive display in midweek as they were narrowly knocked out of the UEFA Champions League at the Round of 16 stage by Real Madrid. The home team are currently fifth in the Bundesliga ahead of this weekend and could do with some consistency. They face a Darmstadt side that had a ‘capo’ ultra give them a speaking to after being thrashed 6-0 at home by Augsburg last weekend and they are now 12 points adrift of safety and four behind Cologne in the relegation playoff place. A comprehensive Leipzig victory is expected on Saturday afternoon.
