Willem II are in serious trouble now after a 1-0 loss at Fortuna Sittard dropped them into the relegation play-off place and they have failed to score in any of their last five to show for one draw and four defeats. Travelling AZ are in a sticky situation themselves with just one win on their last five competitions in a span that has seen them knocked out of the KNVB Cup by Ajax and, as of Thursday night, Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League Conference. The hosts have held the likes of Twente and Ajax to 0-1 results here in recent home games but AZ are arguably much better on the road, so taking the visitors to win looks a reasonable option. Over 2.5 goals could be a useful addition but it would be a risk between Willem II’s low-scoring home games and AZ’s high-scoring away games.
