THE PREDICTION

Beerschot were relegated last Sunday after a 0-2 defeat at home to Gent put them 10 points away from the relegation play-off place with just three games remaining. They briefly topped the league last season under Hernan Losada, who took them up from the second division, but since his departure for D.C. United the club based in Antwerp have seen three managers come and go in a dreadful campaign. Sint-Truiden should take no prisoners in here after a superb 0-1 victory at Genk last Sunday saw them go six matches unbeaten in the league and they could end up sneaking into the European play-off places. Take the hosts to win outright here against a beaten side. Adding a goals option looks a risk here with Sint-Truiden’s last five league games seeing less than three goals scored but Beerschot well capable of scoring and especially conceding plenty.
