After briefly topping the Belgian Pro League in late November, Beerschot have gone six matches without a win to fall back to seventh place as things stand. However, the newly-promoted side have already all-but achieved their aims to stay in the top division and back-to-back 1-1 draws, after four straight defeats, is a trend back in the right direction. However, they host the current league leaders in Club Brugge with just one defeat from their last 10 and the Belgian giants will be confident of revenge here. Beerschot won the reverse of this fixture 0-1 away in Brugges but that looks likely to be repaid with interest here.
